At Tally Ho Tutors we are always recruiting and training. We look for talented graduates and post-graduates who have a solid understanding of their subject and an amiable personality. Of equal importance is that you are the kind of person that young children will be able to develop a rapport with, so that they can ask you questions without fear of embarrassment or scorn. This is most important because it is this interaction between tutor and pupil that makes the lessons effective.
Due to the nature of our business, we have both a moral and legal obligation to check the identities of our tutors and also to check whether they are known to the police, or have any past records that preclude them from working with children.
